Food Rescue US – Lansing Communities

We rescue food from grocers, restaurants, events, school and directly deliver to non-profit agencies in Lansing serving the hungry/food insecure. Our volunteers use their own cars. We organize with an app. We rescue at times convenient to donors and try to match donations with agency needs. All rescues are completed within 30 minutes direct. The volunteers can pick their rescues by claiming them on the app when they become available, which allows maximum flexibility for the volunteer. Most, but not all, rescues are done in the morning and can occur 7 days a week.
